PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date 2026: Expected Date, Beneficiary List & Status Check
With the 21st installment successfully released on November 19, 2025, farmers are now looking forward to the PM Kisan 22nd Installment. Based on the official 4-month release cycle (December-March period), the 22nd installment of ₹2,000 is expected to be credited to bank accounts in February 2026.
This guide tracks the live status of the next payment, the beneficiary list for 2026, and the mandatory eKYC requirements to ensure you don’t miss out.
When Will the 22nd Installment Come?
The Government of India releases PM Kisan funds in three periods: April-July, August-November, and December-March. Looking at historical data, the “December-March” installment is typically released in late February.

Note: We expect the official announcement for the 22nd installment to be made by the Ministry of Agriculture around February 15, 2026.
Who is Eligible for the 22nd Installment?
To receive the upcoming payment in 2026, farmers must satisfy three conditions (“The 3-Tick Rule”):
- Land Seeding: Your land records must be digitally verified (“Yes” status on portal).
- e-KYC: Must be completed via OTP or Face Auth App.
- Aadhaar-Bank Seeding: Your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar (DBT Enabled).
How to Check Beneficiary Status for 2026?
- Visit the official portal pmkisan.gov.in.
- Go to “Know Your Status”.
- Enter your Registration Number. (If you forgot it, use the “Know your registration number” link and verify via Mobile OTP).
- Check the “Eligibility Status” tab. If all three indicators (Land, eKYC, Bank) are Green, you will receive the 22nd installment in February.
The New “Face Auth” eKYC Method (Fastest Way)
Many farmers struggle with OTP issues. The government has launched a new “Face Authentication” feature on the PM Kisan Mobile App.
- Download the PM Kisan Mobile App and Aadhaar Face RD App from Google Play Store.
- Login using your Registration Number.
- Go to “e-KYC” and select “Scan Face.”
- Blink your eyes as instructed to verify. This completes your eKYC instantly without OTP.

Why Your 22nd Installment Might Get Rejected?
Even if you are eligible, your payment may stop if you fall into these error categories:
- “Land Not Seeded”: Your land records are not digitally mapped to your PM Kisan ID. Contact your local Patwari or Agriculture Officer immediately.
- “Aadhaar-Bank Account Not Seeded”: Your bank account is not enabled for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Visit your bank and submit a “DBT Linking Form”.
- Income Tax Payee: If any family member paid income tax last year, the benefit will be stopped.
